# Coupon Generator Settings

# Coupon Generator Settings

The EasyCoupon Coupon Generator combines code-generation options with standard WooCommerce coupon settings. Configure the code first, then define what the generated coupons can do.

## Code generation

### Number of Coupons

Enter the number of coupon codes you want EasyCoupon to generate.

### Coupon Type

Choose the characters used to create the random codes:

- **Characters**
- **Numbers**
- **Characters & Numbers**

### Coupons Character Length

Choose the length of each generated coupon code. EasyCoupon supports values from **1 to 20 characters**.

## General settings

Under **General**, configure:

- **Discount type** — Percentage discount, Fixed cart discount, or Fixed product discount.
- **Coupon amount** — the value of the discount.
- **Allow free shipping** — allows the coupon to grant free shipping when enabled.
- **Coupon expiry date** — sets an expiration date for the generated coupons.

## Usage restriction

You can restrict generated coupons by minimum spend, maximum spend, individual use, sale items, products, excluded products, product categories, excluded categories, and allowed emails.

## Usage limits

You can also set usage limits per coupon, limit usage to a number of items, and set a usage limit per user.

Click **Generate Coupons** after configuring the settings.
