Roadmap

Where HiveCRM is going

In the order we plan to get there. This page updates with every release. Items move from Exploring → Planned → Next up → Shipped, and nothing here is a promise of a date — a lifetime licence includes every update, whenever it lands.

Have a request? Post it in the HiveCRM community — most of what’s below came from customer conversations.

Next up

The items we're actively building for the next releases.

File attachments on tickets and projects

Upload files to tickets and projects from the admin and from the client portal (screenshots, briefs, deliverables). The upload API with file-type restrictions already exists; this adds the interface on both sides and attachments on ticket replies.

AI permission controls and audit log

Choose, per MCP tool, whether an AI assistant can read, write, or is blocked; a read-only connection scope on the consent screen; every change made by an assistant tagged with the AI client that made it; and an Activity page to review what changed, by whom, and when.

Timed delays and branching in workflows

Add “wait X hours/days” steps so a workflow can run a multi-email follow-up sequence, and an If/Else node so one workflow can branch on a condition instead of needing a separate workflow per branch. Also new actions: add note, remove tag, move to trash.

CSV export

Export leads, deals, contacts, invoices and other lists to CSV, with custom fields included and a staff permission to allow or block exports.

Large-pipeline performance for Deals and Projects boards

The same per-column pagination and “Load more” that the Leads board received in 1.0.1, applied to the Deals and Projects Kanban boards.

“Add note” and timeline tools for AI assistants

Let assistants add notes to any record and read a record’s activity timeline through MCP.

Planned

Committed, scheduled after the items above.

Sales reports and dashboards

Charts and date ranges for pipeline value, new vs. won vs. lost deals, conversion rate by stage and by lead source, revenue by month, invoice aging, and per-salesperson performance. Today HiveCRM shows current-state KPIs; this adds trends over time.

Gmail and Outlook email sync

Two-way mailbox sync so emails you exchange with a contact appear on their timeline, plus compose-and-log from inside the CRM.

Saved segments

Save a filter (for example “leads from referrals with budget over $5,000 not contacted in 14 days”) as a reusable segment that updates itself, usable in lists and as a workflow condition.

Catalog-powered line items

Pick products and packages from the catalog when adding line items to estimates, invoices and deals, instead of typing them.

WooCommerce payment settlement

When a WooCommerce order linked to a HiveCRM invoice is paid, mark the invoice paid automatically (today the sync is one-way: WooCommerce → CRM records).

Multi-currency

A home currency with per-deal and per-invoice currencies, exchange rates and consolidated reporting.

Encrypted integration secrets

SMTP, Brevo, Stripe and PayPal credentials stored encrypted at rest.

Exploring

Ideas we're researching with customers. Tell us if one of these matters to you.

AI summaries and writing assistance

A one-paragraph summary of a contact’s history, and AI-drafted follow-up emails inside the CRM.

Lead scoring

Automatic scores from source, engagement and deal history, usable in workflows.

SMS channel (Twilio)

Send and log SMS from a contact or as a workflow action.

Meetings and calls logging

Schedule and log calls and meetings on the timeline, with Google Meet links.

Per-contact portal permissions

Control which projects and documents each portal user can see.
