EasyCoupon Overview #

EasyCoupon is a WooCommerce coupon management plugin that makes it easier to create, manage, and automate promotional discounts in your online store.

Instead of relying only on customers to manually enter coupon codes, EasyCoupon adds tools for automatically applying coupons, generating multiple coupon codes, creating coupon URLs, and setting up Buy One Get One (BOGO) deals.

EasyCoupon works with the coupon system built into WooCommerce, so your existing WooCommerce coupon settings and restrictions continue to control how discounts are applied.

What Can You Do With EasyCoupon? #

EasyCoupon provides four main features:

• Auto Apply Coupon — Automatically apply selected WooCommerce coupons when their conditions are met.
• Coupon Generator — Generate multiple unique WooCommerce coupon codes in bulk.
• URL Coupon — Create links that apply a WooCommerce coupon when a customer visits the URL.
• BOGO Deal — Create Buy One Get One promotional rules where customers purchase qualifying products and receive specified products at a configured discount.

EasyCoupon Pro extends some of these features with additional coupon-code and URL-coupon options.

Auto Apply Coupon #

WooCommerce normally requires customers to enter a coupon code manually.

With EasyCoupon’s Auto Apply Coupon module, you can select existing WooCommerce coupons and configure them for automatic application.

This is useful when you want a promotion to work without requiring customers to remember or type a coupon code.

For example, you could create a WooCommerce coupon for a seasonal promotion and add it to EasyCoupon’s Auto Apply list. When the coupon is valid for the customer’s cart, EasyCoupon can apply it automatically.

Coupon Generator #

Creating a large number of unique coupon codes manually can be time-consuming.

The Coupon Generator module lets you generate multiple WooCommerce coupons at once instead of creating each coupon individually.

You can configure the generated coupons using options such as:

• Number of coupons to generate
• Coupon code length
• Discount type
• Discount amount
• Expiry date
• Minimum and maximum spend
• Products and categories
• Usage restrictions
• Usage limits
• Free shipping
• Individual-use restrictions
• Sale-item restrictions
• Allowed email addresses

After generating the coupons, EasyCoupon provides an option to export the generated coupon information as a CSV file.

URL Coupon #

The URL Coupon module lets you create a promotional URL that applies a specific WooCommerce coupon when a customer visits the link.

This can be useful for campaigns where you want customers to receive a discount through a link instead of manually entering a coupon code.

URL coupons can be useful for:

• Promotional landing pages

EasyCoupon also provides a Force Apply option for URL coupons. When enabled, EasyCoupon can remove other currently applied coupons before applying the URL coupon.

A BOGO rule can define:

• Required quantity
• Products the customer receives
• Gift quantity

• Discount amount

For example, you can create a rule where a customer must purchase a qualifying product before receiving another product through the BOGO promotion.

This gives you more flexibility than a standard percentage or fixed-value coupon because the promotion can be based on specific products and quantities.

EasyCoupon Pro #

EasyCoupon Pro extends the functionality available in the free version.

The Pro version adds additional options to the Coupon Generator, including more control over generated coupon-code formats.

It also extends URL Coupon with additional options such as:

• Custom URL coupon codes
• Redirecting customers to a specific URL
• Custom success messages

You need the free EasyCoupon plugin installed and active to use EasyCoupon Pro.

The Pro version is designed as an extension of the free plugin rather than a separate coupon system.

How EasyCoupon Works With WooCommerce #

EasyCoupon builds on WooCommerce’s existing coupon functionality.

You still create and manage your store’s coupons through WooCommerce where appropriate, while EasyCoupon adds additional ways to generate, trigger, and use those coupons.

WooCommerce controls the underlying coupon rules, including discount type, restrictions, expiry, usage limits, products, categories, and customer email restrictions.

This means EasyCoupon does not require you to replace your existing WooCommerce coupon workflow. Instead, it adds additional tools around it.

Requirements #

Before configuring EasyCoupon, make sure WooCommerce is installed and active and that coupon functionality is available in your store.

WooCommerce coupon functionality can be enabled from WooCommerce → Settings → General → Enable coupons.
