Create a URL Coupon #
You can turn an existing WooCommerce coupon into an EasyCoupon URL Coupon from the coupon edit screen.
1. Open the WooCommerce coupon #
In WordPress, open the WooCommerce coupon you want to use with a URL.
2. Open easyCoupon URL Coupon #
Find the easyCoupon URL Coupon tab in the coupon data panel.
3. Enable the URL #
Turn on Active Coupon URL.
EasyCoupon generates a coupon URL automatically. The URL uses the coupon’s normal WooCommerce coupon code unless a Pro URL-code override has been configured.
4. Copy the coupon URL #
Use Copy URL beside the generated Coupon URL field to copy the link for your campaign or customer communication.
5. Save the coupon #
Save or update the WooCommerce coupon so the URL Coupon settings are stored.
Customer requirements #
The customer needs to have a product in the cart before opening the URL. EasyCoupon validates the coupon before applying it. Normal WooCommerce coupon restrictions, usage limits, expiry, and other validity rules still apply.
URL format #
EasyCoupon generates a URL using the apply_coupon query parameter. The parameter identifies the coupon to apply.
