Add Coupons to Auto Apply #

EasyCoupon can automatically apply selected WooCommerce coupons when the coupon is valid for the customer’s cart. To use this feature, first create and configure the coupon in WooCommerce, then add that published coupon to EasyCoupon’s Auto Apply list.

Before You Start #

Make sure:

• WooCommerce is installed and active.
• You have at least one published WooCommerce coupon.
• The coupon has the discount rules and restrictions you want to use.
• The coupon is valid for the customers and products you want to target.

EasyCoupon’s Auto Apply screen reads published WooCommerce coupons. Draft or other non-published coupon posts are not listed there.

Open Auto Apply Coupon #

From your WordPress dashboard, open EasyCoupon and select Auto Apply Coupon.

The Auto Apply Coupon screen displays your store’s published WooCommerce coupons in a table.

The table includes information such as:

• Code — The WooCommerce coupon code.
• Coupon Type — Percentage discount, fixed cart discount, or fixed product discount.
• Coupon Amount — The configured coupon amount.
• Description — The coupon description, when one has been added.
• Product IDs — Products associated with the coupon.
• Usage/Limit — Current usage compared with the coupon’s usage limit.
• Expiry Date — The coupon’s expiration date, when configured.
• Is Auto Coupon — Shows whether the coupon is currently in the Auto Apply list.
• Action — Lets you edit the WooCommerce coupon or add/remove it from Auto Apply.

Add a Single Coupon to Auto Apply #

To add one coupon:

1. Open EasyCoupon → Auto Apply Coupon.
2. Find the WooCommerce coupon you want to apply automatically.
3. Check the Is Auto Coupon column to see whether it is already enabled.
4. For a coupon that is not currently in the Auto Apply list, use its Add to Auto Apply action.
5. Confirm the action when EasyCoupon asks whether you want to add the coupon.
6. EasyCoupon saves the coupon in the Auto Apply list and refreshes the coupon table.

After the coupon has been added, its Is Auto Coupon status changes to Yes.

Adding a coupon to the Auto Apply list does not create a new WooCommerce coupon. EasyCoupon stores the selected coupon as one of the coupons it should check for automatic application.

Add Multiple Coupons at Once #

EasyCoupon also provides bulk actions, which are useful when you want to add several coupons to Auto Apply.

1. Select the checkboxes beside the coupons you want to add.
2. Open the Bulk actions menu.
3. Select Add to auto apply.
4. Click Apply.
5. Confirm the action in the confirmation dialog.

EasyCoupon then adds the selected coupons to its Auto Apply list.

You can select all coupons currently displayed in the table by using the checkbox in the table header.

Find a Specific Coupon #

If your store has many coupons, use the Search field on the Auto Apply screen.

You can also filter the displayed coupons by discount type using Show all types. The available types are:

• Percentage discount
• Fixed cart discount
• Fixed product discount

Changing the number in Per page view controls how many coupons are displayed at a time. EasyCoupon provides options from 10 through 100 coupons per page.

Edit a Coupon Before Adding It #

The Auto Apply table includes an edit action for each coupon. This opens the corresponding WooCommerce coupon editor in a new browser tab.

Use this when you need to change the coupon’s discount, restrictions, usage limits, products, categories, expiry date, or other WooCommerce coupon settings before making it an automatic coupon.

After changing the WooCommerce coupon, return to the EasyCoupon Auto Apply screen to continue managing the coupon.

Important: Auto Apply Uses WooCommerce Coupon Rules #

Adding a coupon to the Auto Apply list does not bypass the coupon’s WooCommerce restrictions.

EasyCoupon checks whether the selected coupon is valid for the current cart before adding it. Therefore, restrictions such as the coupon amount, applicable products, minimum or maximum spend, usage limits, expiry, and other WooCommerce coupon conditions can affect whether the coupon is automatically applied.

Remove a Coupon from Auto Apply #

If you no longer want a coupon to be applied automatically:

1. Find the coupon in EasyCoupon → Auto Apply Coupon.
2. Use its remove action.
3. Confirm the removal.

You can also remove multiple coupons at once:

1. Select the coupons.
2. Choose Remove from auto apply from Bulk actions.
3. Click Apply.
4. Confirm the action.

Removing a coupon from Auto Apply does not delete the WooCommerce coupon. It only removes that coupon from EasyCoupon’s Auto Apply list.

Example #

Suppose you have a WooCommerce coupon named SUMMER20 that gives customers a 20% discount when its configured conditions are satisfied.

To make EasyCoupon apply it automatically:

1. Create and publish SUMMER20 as a WooCommerce coupon.
2. Open EasyCoupon → Auto Apply Coupon.
3. Find SUMMER20 in the coupon table.
4. Click its Add to Auto Apply action.
5. Confirm the action.

EasyCoupon will then include SUMMER20 when checking coupons for automatic application.

The coupon’s normal WooCommerce validity rules still apply. If the coupon is not valid for the customer’s current cart, EasyCoupon does not add the discount simply because the coupon is in the Auto Apply list.

Things to Remember #

• Only published WooCommerce coupons are displayed in the Auto Apply screen.
• Adding a coupon to Auto Apply does not create a duplicate coupon.
• Removing a coupon from Auto Apply does not delete the original WooCommerce coupon.
• Automatic application still depends on the coupon being valid for the current cart.
• You can manage individual coupons or use bulk actions for multiple coupons.
• The Auto Apply screen lets you edit the underlying WooCommerce coupon without leaving the workflow.
