The Clients module gives you a unified view of everyone actively doing business with you — their deals, invoices, projects, and files, all in one place.
How to Open Clients #
Go to Hive CRM → Clients.
Clients vs. Contacts #
A Client is a Contact that’s been marked as an active customer. Creating a record from the Clients module (rather than the Contacts module) automatically flags it as a client, so it appears in client-specific views, statistics, and — if enabled — gets access to the Client Portal.
Client Overview Page #
Opening a client shows their financial summary alongside a tabbed panel with:
- Deals — every deal associated with this client.
- Invoices — their billing history and payment status.
- Projects — active and past projects delivered for them.
- Files — documents and links attached to the client record.
Client Statistics #
The Clients list shows summary statistics across your client base, giving you a quick read on total clients, active relationships, and related activity.
When to Use Clients #
Use the Clients module once you’re actively delivering work or billing someone — it’s the operational home for an existing customer relationship, as opposed to Contacts, which covers your entire network including prospects and past contacts.
