Project Settings let you configure the statuses and defaults used across the Projects module.
How to Open Project Settings #
Go to Hive CRM → Settings → Projects.
Project Lifecycle Statuses #
Statuses are color-coded stages a project moves through (for example Planning, In Progress, On Hold, Completed).
To add a status:
- Enter a status name.
- Choose a badge color.
- Click Add Status.
Click the edit icon on a status row to rename it or change its color, or the trash icon to delete it.
Project Defaults & Operational Policy #
- Default Status — the status assigned to a new project when none is specified.
- Default Currency — the currency used for project-related figures when none is specified.
- Default Duration (Days) — the expected project length pre-filled when creating a new project.
- Send Creation Notification — automatically email stakeholders when a new project is created.
Click Save to apply your changes.
