The Leads module is where potential clients enter your HiveCRM pipeline, before they become an active sales opportunity.
How to Open Leads #
In your WordPress admin area, go to:
Hive CRM → Leads
Leads List and Kanban Views #
The Leads screen gives you two ways to view your pipeline:
- List view — a sortable, searchable table of every lead, paginated server-side so it stays fast even with a large number of leads.
- Kanban view — leads grouped into columns by their Lead Level, so you can drag a lead from one qualification stage to the next.
Use the view switcher tabs at the top of the screen to toggle between List and Kanban.
Filtering and Search #
From the Leads screen you can filter the list by:
- Lead Level
- Lead Source
- Tag
and search by name or other lead details.
Lead Levels and Sources #
Every lead can be assigned a Lead Level (a qualification stage, such as New, Contacted, or Qualified) and a Lead Source (the acquisition channel, such as Referral or Google Ads). Both are fully customizable — see Lead Settings.
Converting a Lead to a Deal #
Once a lead is qualified and ready to become an active sales opportunity, open the lead and click Convert to Deal. This creates a new deal pre-filled with the lead’s contact information and marks the original lead as converted, so its history stays linked.
When to Use Leads #
Use the Leads module to track prospective clients before they’re ready to be worked as a formal sales opportunity — for example, inbound form submissions, cold outreach targets, or referrals that haven’t been qualified yet.
