Installation & Requirements #
EasyCoupon is a WooCommerce coupon and promotion plugin. Make sure your WordPress site meets the requirements below before installing it.
Requirements #
EasyCoupon Free 1.0.1 requires:
- WordPress: 6.5 or later
- PHP: 7.4 or later
- WooCommerce: installed and active
EasyCoupon 1.0.1 also declares compatibility with WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS).
Install EasyCoupon From WordPress #
- Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
- Go to Plugins → Add New.
- Search for EasyCoupon.
- Find EasyCoupon – Advanced Coupon & Deal for WooCommerce.
- Click Install Now.
- Click Activate when installation finishes.
After activation, the EasyCoupon menu appears in the WordPress admin area.
Install EasyCoupon From a ZIP File #
- Go to Plugins → Add New.
- Click Upload Plugin.
- Select the EasyCoupon ZIP file.
- Click Install Now.
- Click Activate Plugin.
You can also install it manually through a hosting file manager or FTP by extracting the ZIP and uploading the easycoupon folder to wp-content/plugins/, then activating EasyCoupon from Plugins.
Install EasyCoupon Pro #
EasyCoupon Pro is an addon for EasyCoupon Free. EasyCoupon Free must remain installed and active.
To install Pro from a ZIP file:
- Confirm EasyCoupon Free is active.
- Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
- Select the EasyCoupon Pro ZIP file.
- Click Install Now.
- Activate EasyCoupon Pro.
Pro does not replace the Free plugin; it extends supported EasyCoupon features.
After Installation #
Open EasyCoupon → Dashboard to access:
- Auto Apply Coupon
- Coupon Generator
- URL Coupon
- BOGO Deal
If Pro is active and licensed, its additional options appear inside the supported feature interfaces.
Troubleshooting #
EasyCoupon cannot be activated #
Check that WordPress is 6.5 or later and PHP is 7.4 or later. Also make sure WooCommerce is installed and active.
EasyCoupon Pro options are not available #
Make sure EasyCoupon Free is installed and active. Pro is an addon and does not work as a standalone replacement for Free.
EasyCoupon does not appear after a manual installation #
Confirm that the plugin folder is located inside wp-content/plugins/ and that the plugin is activated from Plugins.
Version Compatibility #
EasyCoupon 1.0.1 includes compatibility work for WordPress 7.1 and WooCommerce HPOS, along with performance and security improvements in that release.
