BOGO Discount Settings #

EasyCoupon lets you control the discount applied to the gift products in a BOGO Deal rule.

Discount Type #

Choose one of the available options:

Percentage discount #

Select Percentage discount when the gift should receive a percentage reduction from its normal product price.

Enter the percentage in Discount Amount.

Fixed discount #

Select Fixed discount when the gift should receive a fixed amount reduction from its normal product price.

Enter the amount in Discount Amount.

How the discount is shown #

When the BOGO condition is satisfied, EasyCoupon calculates the discounted gift price and updates the cart pricing for the configured gift quantity. The cart can show the normal-priced quantity separately from the discounted gift quantity when additional units of the same product are present.

Example #

If a gift product normally costs $20 and the rule uses a 50% discount for one gift, the gift portion is priced at $10.

With a fixed discount of $5, the same $20 gift would be priced at $15.

Important #

The discount is applied when the BOGO rule’s buy conditions are satisfied. If the customer does not meet all required buy quantities, the rule is not achieved.
