Hive Mail finds supported plugins by itself. Nothing is switched on by hand: a shop or form plugin appears as soon as it is active, and its triggers, rule types and merge tags appear with it. Automation > Integrations lists what was found on your site, and Settings > Integrations shows the same with the number of flows that use each one (Settings: Integrations).

WordPress mail (wp_mail) |

| Mailgun | Sends each email through the Mailgun API (US or EU region) | Settings > Sending, or constants in wp-config.php |
Settings: Sending |
| SendGrid | Sends each email through the SendGrid API | Settings > Sending, or constants in wp-config.php |
Settings: Sending |
| Bounce and complaint reports | Mailgun, SendGrid or any service (generic JSON) reports bounces; Hive Mail stops emailing those addresses | Deliverability > Bounces & Suppressions | Bounces and suppressions |
| Cookie-consent tools | Hive Mail finds Complianz, CookieYes, Cookiebot, iubenda, Cookie Compliance (Hu-manity), GDPR Cookie Compliance (Moove), WPConsent, WPLP Cookie Consent, Beautiful Cookie Consent Banner, Real Cookie Banner, Borlabs Cookie, Termly, consentmanager and Quantcast Choice, shows no banner of its own beside them, and follows their answer where it can. The WP Consent API is supported | Settings > Tracking & Privacy | Use with a cookie consent plugin |
| REST API | Read and change your data from another program, with an application password | Settings > Webhooks & API | REST API: introduction and authentication |
| PHP hooks and registries | Run code on events, add a delivery method, trigger, segment rule or menu entry | In code | Extending Hive Mail |
Notes #
- Nothing is created without consent rules. A form submission or webhook request makes a contact only when an active flow listens to it, and the flow's Permission to email rule decides the status. An existing contact's status is never changed by a form, a shop or an import; nobody who unsubscribed, bounced or complained is subscribed again by them.
- Shops add transactional contacts. A buyer who is not a contact yet can be added as a transactional contact, so order emails reach them and marketing emails and campaigns never do.
- Sending services and tracking. When you send through Mailgun or SendGrid, their own open and click tracking is switched off; Hive Mail's tracking is the only one (Email tracking).
- Keys. Keep Mailgun and SendGrid keys out of the database with the constants
HIVEMAIL_MAILGUN_API_KEY,HIVEMAIL_MAILGUN_SIGNING_KEYandHIVEMAIL_SENDGRID_API_KEY(Developer guide). - A plugin missing from this list can still send people in through the incoming webhook, the REST API or a CSV file.
